Compliance Policy of the International Physical Therapy Academy (IPTA)

1. Introduction: The International Physical Therapy Academy (IPTA) is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and promoting compliance in all aspects of its operations. This Compliant Policy serves as a guideline for all members, employees, and stakeholders associated with IPTA to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.

2. Code of Conduct: IPTA expects all individuals associated with the organization to act with integrity, honesty, and professionalism. The following principles should be followed:

A- Respect for the law: All activities must comply with applicable laws and regulations.

B- Ethical behavior: Upholding ethical standards in all interactions with colleagues, patients, and the public.

C- Confidentiality: Protecting the privacy and confidentiality of patients, learners' information and any other party's information.

D- Conflict of interest: Disclosing any potential conflicts of interest that may compromise professional judgment or objectivity.

E- Professional competence: Maintaining and enhancing professional competence through continuous learning and development.

F- Non-discrimination: Ensuring equal treatment and opportunities for all individuals, regardless of race, gender, religion, or any other protected characteristic.

3. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: IPTA is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdictions it operates. This includes but is not limited to:

A- Data protection and privacy laws: Ensuring compliance with regulations governing the collection, storage, and processing of personal data.

B - Health and safety regulations: Providing a safe and healthy environment for staff, learners, and visitors.

C- Employment laws: Complying with labor laws, including fair employment practices, non-discrimination, and proper payment of wages.

D - Intellectual property rights: Respecting and protecting intellectual property rights of others.

4. Reporting Concerns: IPTA encourages the reporting of any concerns related to potential violations of laws, regulations, or ethical standards. A confidential reporting mechanism is established to allow individuals to report concerns without fear of retaliation.

A- Whistleblower protection: IPTA ensures protection for individuals who report concerns in good faith from any retaliation or adverse consequences.
