Executive Order: Program Dues and Entitlement for Affiliation and Organization
Preamble
In line with international best practices in professional training and certification management, and following a comprehensive review of IPTA’s financial and program administration policies, it has been determined that adjustments are required to ensure global consistency, transparency, and sustainability of IPTA programs.
Article (1): Scope of Application
This Executive Order applies to all short professional and clinical training programs, courses, webinars and workshops conducted under the authority of the International Physical Therapy Academy (IPTA).
Article (2): Fixed Dues Structure
Effective immediately, all IPTA-affiliated and organized programs shall be subject to fixed dues rather than revenue-sharing or percentage-based models.
The dues shall consist of five components:
Program Fees (vary by duration)
Accreditation/ Affiliation Fees (vary by duration)
Certification Fees (fixed)
Administrative Fees (fixed)
A 25% Discounted rate is applied for IPTA AOs when organizing IPTA Program.
Annexed document shall defining the amount for each component mentioned in Article (2) – 2, 3
Other longitudinal programs and conferences are subjected to Executive Office decisions upon analysing the program requirements.
Article (3): Entitlements of Organizers
Organizers of IPTA programs shall be entitled to:
Use of IPTA branding, logo, and official recognition ( upon fulfilling the requirements).
Access to IPTA-approved curricula, training materials, and systems.
Listing on IPTA’s global program calendar and digital platforms.
Certification of participants under IPTA authority, provided all quality standards are met.
Article (4): Entitlements of IPTA
The International Physical Therapy Academy shall retain the right to:
Oversee and approve program content, trainer qualifications, and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with professional and ethical guidelines.
Collect dues in line with this fixed structure and withdraw affiliation in cases of violation.
Article (5): Rationale
This decision is based on the following principles:
Financial Clarity – Eliminates ambiguity by standardizing dues.
Equity – Ensures consistent and fair treatment across all affiliates and organizers.
Sustainability – Provides IPTA with a stable financial model to support global operations.
Administrative Simplicity – Replaces variable revenue-sharing with predictable fixed fees.
Article (6): Implementation & Enforcement
This Executive Order is binding on all IPTA Appointed offices, partners, and affiliated training centers worldwide.
Program organizers are not requested to submit a financial report upon program completion.
The IPTA Scientific and Administrative Affairs Committees shall oversee its implementation.
Any violation of this directive shall be subject to review by the IPTA Executive Board.
Article (7): Reporting:
Program organizers shall not be required to submit a financial report upon the completion of the program.
Program organizers shall be required to submit an administrative report, including the number of participants and other relevant details. Organizers must also coordinate with IPTA in sharing participant information and any additional data requested by the Academy.
