Biography
Dr. Abdulfattah S. Alqahtani is an Associate Professor and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Consultant in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
He has extensive academic, clinical, research, and leadership experience in cardiopulmonary physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, health professions education, and rehabilitation sciences. He currently provides cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services at King Saud University clinics and has served as a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation consultant at Prince Faisal bin Khalid Cardiac Center.
Dr. Alqahtani is also the President of the Saudi Physical Therapy Association and a member of the Permanent National Committee for Medical Rehabilitation at the Saudi Health Council. His professional contributions include teaching undergraduate and graduate physical therapy courses, leading community service and strategic planning initiatives, supervising academic committees, and publishing research in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, physical activity, cardiovascular health, and rehabilitation sciences.
