Biography
Dr. Alaa Ibrahim Abozaid Khalil is a Clinical Doctor of Physical Therapy specialized in electrodiagnostic medicine, with more than 10 years of full-time experience in nerve conduction studies, electromyography, and advanced neuromuscular diagnostic techniques.
He currently serves as Head of the Electroneuromyography Unit at Nassaem Hospital in New Cairo and works as a Clinical Electrodiagnostic Specialist across several radiology and diagnostic centers in Cairo, Giza, Nasr City, and Heliopolis.
Dr. Alaa has performed more than 7,000 electrodiagnostic cases, including motor and sensory nerve conduction studies, needle EMG, repetitive nerve stimulation, blink reflex studies, somatosensory evoked potentials, single fiber EMG, Macro-EMG, and advanced neuromuscular assessments. His practice includes clinical interpretation, lesion localization, severity grading, and final reporting to support medical and surgical decision-making.
He is also involved in teaching and training EMG and NCS courses for physicians and physical therapists and has participated in clinical research related to diabetic polyneuropathy.
