Biography
Professor Alice Yee-men Jones is an internationally recognized physiotherapy academic, educator, and researcher with extensive experience in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy, rehabilitation sciences, physiotherapy education, and professional development.
She currently serves as Honorary Professor at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Queensland, Australia, and Director of AAJ Health Education Pty. Ltd. She also holds visiting and part-time academic roles in China, including appointments at Kunming Medical University, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Sichuan University.
Professor Jones previously held senior academic leadership roles at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, including Professor, Acting Head of Department, Associate Head, Programme Leader, and Director of the Centre for East Meets West in Rehabilitation Sciences. She has contributed significantly to physiotherapy curriculum development, postgraduate supervision, international teaching, research collaboration, and the development of physiotherapy education in China.
Her academic profile includes over 140 refereed journal papers, extensive conference contributions, book chapters, research grants, and supervision of master’s and doctoral students. Her areas of expertise include cardiopulmonary physiotherapy, intensive care rehabilitation, physiotherapy education, curriculum development, clinical research, and international academic collaboration.
